A very important fact that you need to know about SEO or Search Engine Optimization, is the distribution of clicks on a search engine landing page. After all, it is no use patting yourself on the back for that page 2 listing when in fact, that listing is going to make no to little difference to your overall business.

Page 1 accounts for over 90% of all traffic!

The other important fact to know is that Google is the king of search engines. Yes, Google accounts for around 65% of all search traffic, so, in simple terms, unless you are on page 1 of Google, for your chosen search term, you’re losing half of your target market.

I will repeat it again, for the sake of those with hearing problems. Google page 1 is worth more than 50% of the total traffic for your niche.

So, that’s where you need to be.. Full stop. Anything less and you’re missing out. Big time! This is what the top SEO services know and this is where they concentrate their efforts..

So, let’s assume that you’ve hired one of the top SEO services or you’ve invested a huge amount of time and energy to not only learn the ins and outs of search engine optimization but to also put into practice the right tricks, methods and secrets necessary to get you landed on page 1. Well done, take a bow. But is that the end of the story? Not exactly.

Ok, let’s assume that your listing is on page 1, let’s have a look at what happens to the clicks on page 1 of Google. There are three main elements to a Google search results page (for a typically commercial result i.e. not left handed basket weaving):

1. The three main sponsored results at the top
2. The sponsored results to the right
3. The 10 organic listings

RSS Feeds – Really Simple Syndication Feeds go two ways. You have the option of publishing a feed of your own content and then other people will publish those feeds, with your links, on their blogs. Obviously,you can also do the same, publish RSS feeds on your blogs. The trade is that you get fresh content, automatically posted, the offset being that you are giving out a link to the publishing blog. There’s an alternative. Publishing your own feeds and, yes, it is very simple.

Let’s pretend you have 3 blogs, A, B + C. A publishes cialis 20 mg tablets B’s feed, B publishes C’s feed and C publishes… ok you’ve got the idea by now. This way the link love and web traffic stays in your own neighborhood and each of your blogs get fresh updated content, every time one of your blogs gets updated.

RSS Feeds – Part 2. Now don’t stop there, you can get feeds from many places. These are just a few: Amazon, e-bay, Clickbank, PayDotCom, Twitter, Social Bookmarking Sites, Dictionaries etc. It’s a very big list. If you want to get them all from one place then go here..

Publish away but be cognizant of all the links that you are sending out, you are going to have a strategy to bring some back in. Here’s an idea; publish a really useful RSS Feed and then I’m sure everyone will start wanting to publish it on their own blog and then you’ll get a heap of inbound links, or did I just say that?

Plug ins – There are a lot of really good and useful plugins that will do so much for your blog. Fruity Plugins are ones that I should mention, as they do not only create fresh content on your site but also on other blogs as well. Quite incredible and definitely worth having in your strategy. When you download you also get a list of the Top 50 WordPress Plugins, so it’s a very good place to begin.

Mix It Up – Whatever you do, try and mix it up.. If you’re going to use PLR, then it’s ok. But always remember to add spun articles into that mix too. Next you can purchase some bespoke articles and then finally do what I’m doing right now, write some of your own. At the end of the day, it can be good for you to create an article or two. You get a great sense of achievement and of course, fresh, healthy veggies for the Google slugs to slurp on. Happy blogging!

Having someone share their top SEO services with you can lead you well on the way to success. Here are a few of my SEO secrets:.

1 – Comment Google loves a blog. Most of the time you’ll find a blog in its number 1 spot. Many of those blogs accept comments. So, leave a comment. You know the rules by now. Don’t over commercialize, be helpful, be useful, good things will follow Of course, never forget to leave a link to your webpage by using your keyword as your user name.

2 – Do a search – Search on Google for your target keyword. Visit the top 10 sites thinking: low dose cialis cost “How do I get my link on THIS site?”. The answer probably lies above or beneath you. One example is you’ll see an article with a directory, such as Ezine Articles, occupying one of the top spots. Another good tactic is to use an article submission service. So, if you were to write and submit an article, with your target keyword as part of the headline, who knows what might happen? Most especially if you submit the RSS feed of all your articles, as mentioned in step 1.

3 – Advertise – If all else fails, advertise. Buy a cheap AdWords campaign and if you cant afford the click costs for your target keyword then focus instead on the long tail keywords that are related to your target keyword (they are a lot cheaper). You can also buy ads on specific sites on a per click or per impression basis. Facebook is also a good and cheaper alternative to AdWords. There are other simply amazing advertising opportunities, where it is relatively cheap to advertise on other people’s sites and blogs including a number of other excellent options.

Some independent sites also accept banner and link advertising. Some will if you ask them, so once you see a website on top position and you would like to be a part of it, just send them an emai. You will often be pleasantly astonished how little the webmaster will want for a decently placed link or banner..

By the way, you will note that I didn’t mention social bookmarking. Now, of course, that’s important and you may want to see which of your pages are doing well first and then social bookmark just a few in some of the more popular social bookmarking sites. Start off at socialmarker, Digg and Stumbleupon from there. But in closing, I think social bookmarking alone will not be enough to get you on page 1.

This is my blog launch formula. It is an absolute beauty. Follow this strategy and it’s a surefire way to successfully launch ANY blog in ANY niche. I won’t make any wild claims about the number of visitors you will receive, nor the number of pages you will have indexed in Google, nor the number of mentions you will have in Google, suffice to say, you will be amazed with it’s advantages, especially on your time and effort invested.

You will have noticed that blogs and blogging play a big part in the 7 Sexy SEO Secrets. In fact, that is the 7th and in my opinion, the sexiest seo secret of them all; BLOG.

This is the strategy that I personally use when I’m serious about a blog. You can trim accordingly for less important blogs, inexpensive cialis but trimmer beware, who knows where the secret sauce lies?
